وما يميز ميدلتون أنها لا تحاول إخفاء علامات الحمل بينما ترتدي ما يناسب هذه المرحلة، وبدت في كل إطلالاتها بسيطة لا تخفي بطنها ولكنها أيضاً لا تظهرها بشكل مزعج كما تفعل بعض النجمات.
وبعد التدقيق في عدد كبير من إطلالات دوقة بريطانيا خلال الحمل استخلصنا بعض النصائح التي قد تفيد أي امرأة حامل لتبدو بأناقتها وفي نفس الوقت لا تشعر بالضيق من الملابس.
تعتمد ميدلتون بشكل كبير على الفستان متوسط الطول، واعتمدت أكثر من مرة قصّة «البيليسيه» أو الطيات المتلاحقة، فهذا الموديل يقلل من مظهر البطن المرتفع وفي نفس الوقت يناسب صيحات الموضة الحديثة.
كما اعتمدت ميدلتون في كثير من الإطلالات على المعطف الذي يتحلى بقصة الخصر، أما الحزام الرفيع فكان اختياراً موفقاً مع كثير من الفساتين.
وتتميز ميدلتون بأنها ترتدي كل الألوان حتى الفاتحة منها مثل الأصفر والأزرق الفاتح والوردي، ولكن عادة ما تفضل درجات الأزرق والبترولي ليس لإخفاء الحمل بينما لأن الألوان الداكنة تمنحها مزيدا من الأناقة.
وتظهر دائماً ميدلتون بكعب من 3 إلى 5 سم تقريباً وهو اختيار مناسب للسيدة الحامل إذا كانت بصدد حضور مناسبة لا تتطلب منها كثيرا من الحركة، أما إذا كانت ستضطر للحركة فلا داعي لكعب عالٍ.
