Born out of necessity in World War II, the Jeep served with distinction in military actions around the globe. When it mustered out at war’s end, there was a dedicated cadre of enthusiasts looking to convert it to civilian use. From this interest came decades of production Jeeps, each able to conquer trails as easily as they conquered the hearts of Jeep enthusiasts.
The aftermarket loves the Jeep, and it has won just about every SUV of the Year award SEMA has ever given out. It’s not uncommon to see Jeeps rigged up with over $100,000 worth of aftermarket gear. Here are some of our favorite rigs from SEMA 2018.
