أمر الدكتور محمد سلطان، محافظ الإسكندرية، شركة الكهرباء والجهات المسؤولة بفصل التيار الكهربائي عن أعمدة الإنارة المتواجدة بطريق الكورنيش والأماكن الخطرة التي تتواجد بها حركة عالية من الرياح الشديدة، وذلك حفاظا على أرواح وسلامة المواطنين.

وينصح المحافظ المواطنين بعدم ملامسة أي أعمدة للإنارة، والابتعاد عن السير في الكورنيش لخروج الأمواج الشديدة، وكذا الحذر من السير على الطرق السريعة في الوقت الحالي لسقوط أمطار غزيرة، والالتزام بالأماكن الآمنة قدر الإمكان.
