Wheelmaker DUB took a stab at customizing a few Kias for the 2018 SEMA show in Las Vegas. It laid its hands on the Stinger GT, which we love, and the K900, which is a good car but kind of lost in America.

First, the Stinger. DUB wrapped the widebody in a color called Avery brushed steel and added carbon-fiber accents. Of course it gets 22-inch staggered Dropstars forged wheels and meaty 245/30 Nitto tires in front and 265/30 Nittos in back.

DUB revamped the interior with red leather and black suede, a custom audio system, LED lighting and an underhood dress-up kit. On the performance side, it added a custom exhaust, air intake and an air ride suspension.

DUB Kia K900 at SEMA

This is possibly the best looking Kia K900 we’ve ever seen.

The K900, Kia’s biggest sedan, gets 24-inch(!) DUB wheels with Nitto tires and an air suspension. The body is done in electric blue with gloss black accents. Those colors continue to the inside with leather and suede, tinted windows and a truly SEMA-style remote-controlled LED headliner and lights. It also comes with a new multimedia system and personal Wi-Fi hotspot.

SEMA show cars generally represent half performance upgrades and half visual upgrades. I skew more to the performance stuff, but these type of upgrades makes more sense on say, the Kia Telluride SUV (which we’ll talk about later today), a little bit less on the K900 and even less on the Stinger, which is actually a performance car. Sure, some are visually good looking, I’ll give them that. But remote-controlled LED light-up headliners?
