“Supplications for Weather and Atmospheric Conditions: Rain, Thunder, and Lightning Duas”

Dua for Rain:
“Dua for Rain: ‘O Allah, make it a beneficial downpour, O Allah, make it a downpour of mercy, O Allah, do not make it destructive. O Allah, protect us from Your anger and Your punishment. O Allah, grant us health before that. O Allah, we ask You for its goodness and the goodness it brings with it and the goodness for which it is sent. We seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil it brings with it and the evil for which it is sent.'”

The meaning of the word “صيبا” (downpour) in this dua is that it refers to rain. It is a supplication to ask Allah to send beneficial rain without harm and to protect from the negative effects of rain.

Dua When Hearing Thunder:
“Glory is to the One who thunders with His praise, and the angels too, from His fear. O Allah, do not destroy us with Your anger, and have mercy on us with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.”

Dua for Heavy Rain:
“O Allah, keep it around us and not on us. O Allah, on the hills, the mountains, the riverbeds, and the places where trees grow.”

Additional Recommended Duas During Rain:

“O Allah, I ask You for mercy from Your grace, by which You guide my heart, bring my affairs together, remove my distress, help my absent ones, make my work right, give me guidance, and purify me from all evils.”
“Our Lord, remove from us the punishment; indeed, we are believers.”
“O Allah, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of the Fire.”
“O Allah, I seek guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency from You.”
“O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, heal me, and provide for me.”
“O Controller of hearts, turn our hearts to Your obedience.”
“I seek refuge in Allah from hardship, misery, evil decrees, and the rejoicing of enemies.”
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity, indolence, cowardice, senility, and miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from the torment of the grave, the trials of life and death, and the evil of the trial of the false Messiah.”
“O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and no one forgives sins except You. So forgive me with a forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me. Verily, You are the Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
Please note that these supplications are typically recited by Muslims during specific weather conditions or situations to seek Allah’s blessings, mercy, and protection.
